The Photography Coordinator supports the end-to-end photo production process, with an emphasis on pre-production assistance, on-set support, and foundational post-production tasks. Will report to the Director of Photography.
THE WORK
- Assist with photo shoots, supporting the on-set team in roles such as Grip, lighting technicians, and digital capture (Digitech)
- Learning commercial photography
- Pre-Production
- Assist with ideation and creation of concept decks, moodboards, and shotlists
- Learn to translate brand style guidelines into concepting and mood boarding
- Support concept deck buildouts, ensuring visual consistency and alignment with agency design standards.
- Prep gear packages and studio needs based on shot list requirements
Requirements
- Can compose basic shots under direction
- Proficient in studio lighting setup and breakdown
- Lighting plots
- Strong equipment handling, inventory, and maintenance
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient camera operation
- Artistic eye in building presentation decks
