Established in 2012, Gold Rush is one of the most respected and sought out Terminal Operators in Illinois. Gold Rush is currently looking for a full-time marketing coordinator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Support Marketing Manager with planning and executing events and promotions to help increase incremental play and customer visitation
- Point person for the creation of signage, marketing projects, collateral needs, social media requests and promotions/giveaways
- Meets and communicates with staff and other companies/agencies to facilitate planning for fulfilling their special promotional needs such as collateral, signage, giveaways, drawings, etc.
- Ensures that jobs are consistently well-structured, logical and easy to understand for all parties
- Track assigned jobs to ensure that the workflow is progressing
- Execute community events to increase awareness of the brand as well as build relationships and help the local community
- Ability to effectively and efficiently move around work areas and different locations
- Must be flexible and able to travel to different locations throughout the Chicago area based on promotional and event needs
- Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service
- Analyze results of marketing efforts, submit monthly marketing recaps to marketing manager
- Performs tasks to support the marketing team for Gold Rush Gaming
Qualifications
- Previous marketing experience preferred
- Bachelors degree in marketing or communications field required
- Knowledge of social media marketing
- Must possess excellent customer service, problem solving skills and an eye for detail
- Must be able to organize and maintain a wide variety of activities in a multitasking fast paced format
- Some marketing or special events experience and basic understanding of finance and drivers of performance
- Computer literate with software systems to include Windows, Excel, Publisher, Adobe, and Power Point
- Knowledge of community and surrounding areas a plus
- Extremely organized and diplomatic with the ability to work well under pressure
- Must be able to work well as a team and independently
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position
- Flexible schedule, occasional evenings and weekends are necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 21 years of age
