Key Responsibilities:
- Design and draft electrical control panel schematics and layouts using Eplan (primary tool) and AutoCAD Electrical (as needed).
- Ensure designs are compliant with UL and NEC.
- Collaborate with the controls engineering team on special design considerations and resolve design-related issues.
- Serve as a point of contact for our panel shop, addressing questions and supporting the build process of your designs.
- Develop and manage BOMs, wire lists, and required documentation.
- Participate in design reviews and effectively communicate across engineering and production teams.
- Adapt to project changes, manage priorities, and maintain attention to detail in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of applicable experience in control panel design.
- Proficiency with Eplan required; experience with AutoCAD Electrical and Eplan Pro Panel is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards: UL508A, UL698A, NFPA 496, NFPA 70, NEC.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to adjust to evolving project demands and timelines.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
