Background:
Club d’Antibes is a new luxury sport & resort-inspired apparel line designed and produced in New York City. Our brand is inspired by the nostalgic glamour of the 1960s / 1970s French Riviera jet-set - when tennis wasn’t just a sport, but a lifestyle.
Club d’Antibes is seeking a part-time independent contractor to support a series of brand operations and strategy initiatives. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys contributing to a wide range of projects in a fast-paced business environment. This is not an employment or internship role. The contractor will operate independently and will be compensated by Club d’Antibes for time spent on agreed-upon deliverables.
Illustrative projects & responsibilities:
Projects may include a subset of the following, depending on brand priorities and contractor availability:
- Production Support: lead in-person check-ins with Club d’Antibes’ NYC-based production partners 1-2x per week, including sample reviews, feedback coordination, and progress tracking.
- Wholesale & Partnership Outreach: Compile, maintain, and execute outreach to curated lists of prospective wholesale partners (e.g., specialty boutiques, tennis / golf clubs, luxury hotels, etc.).
- PR & Influencer Management: Support influencer identification, outreach, gifting coordination, and performance tracking (e.g., placements, posts, engagement, early performance indicators).
- Community Building: Support planning efforts for brand activations by researching venues, compiling invite lists, and organizing itineraries.
- Content Development: Assist with development and execution of content creation across brand platforms (e.g. email newsletters, Instagram, TikTok, etc).
- Market Research: Produce concise briefs on fashion x sport trends, competitor launches, and relevant cultural moments.
Engagement Structure:
- Role category: Independent contractor (1099).
- Compensation: Starting at $20.00/hour, depending on experience level. Invoiced monthly.
- Time commitment: Flexible, targeting 20 - 30h per month to start.
- Term: Short-term engagement with potential to extend.
- Location: hybrid - New York City / remote. Contractor will need to lead visits to Club d’Antibes’ NYC-based production partners 1-2x/week. Majority of additional responsibilities can be managed remotely.
Qualifications:
- Current undergraduate or recent graduate with an interest in luxury fashion, sportswear, media, and/or early-stage brand building.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable with both operational and strategic tasks.
Additional notes:
- Contractors are free to perform services for other clients during the engagement.
- Academic credit, if applicable, must be administered independently by the contractor’s educational institution.
