Western F.A.S.H.I.O.N is a costume and themed apparel company offering everything from Mardi Gras and Halloween to Renaissance, Steampunk, and Rave wear. We supply bold, creative looks for parties, events, and special occasions.
The Role
We're looking for a Product Designer to create new apparel and accessory designs and work closely with overseas suppliers to bring them to life. You'll be involved from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Design new costumes, accessories, and themed apparel
- Create tech packs, sketches, and specifications for manufacturing
- Communicate with suppliers on sampling, materials, and production
- Review samples and manage quality assurance
- Collaborate with VP and imports team on product development timelines
- Stay current on trends in costumes, party wear, and pop culture themes
- E-commerce website duties such as order processing or entering new items into the online portals
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in apparel or product design
- Portfolio showing apparel or accessories work
- Understanding of garment construction and materials
- Comfortable communicating with overseas manufacturers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Bonus: Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or CAD tools
