Cella is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join the internal creative team at our client, a leading American multinational consumer goods corporation, for a 5-month contract opportunity.
Graphic designers create visual content for print and digital media. They design layouts, images, and illustrations for advertisements, websites, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Responsibilities:
- Create layouts and designs for logos, packaging, advertising, marketing collateral and other published materials in print and online.
- Select and arrange artwork, create illustrations, choose colors and influence the concept for the design.
- Conduct press checks.
- Knowledge of the latest graphic design software is essential.
- Strong communication skills are important, as they frequently interact with other creative team members, such as production artists, writers, art directors and creative directors.
- Utilize intermediate skills in UI design and mid-level knowledge of UI design principles as well as some experience in design delivery and UI research.
- Ensure the quality and consistency in UI design deliverables, which can include mockups and clickable prototypes, design systems, assets for development handoff, simple animations, and anything else the product team might need.
- Interpret brand guidelines into digital UI for their product.
- Leverage mid-level knowledge of UI research, including competitive analysis, A/B testing, accessibility and anything else the product team might need.
- Collaborate closely with Product Designer (UX) partner in wireframe and design decision handoff, as well as with the software engineers on their team, focusing on smoothly handing off assets for development and facilitating UI reviews of the live code.
- Upskill in design leadership through team process initiatives, lead communication with stakeholders, and establish UI design practices.
