Job Duties
Process Modernization & Automation
- Evaluate existing MS Access and Excel-based reporting processes.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and modernize workflows.
- Redesign legacy processes (not “lift and shift”).
- Develop automated solutions using Power Automate, Power BI, and advanced Excel.
- Improve reporting outputs for accuracy, efficiency, and usability.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Lead end-to-end requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and validation.
- Create business requirements, process flows, use cases, test plans, and training materials.
- Conduct needs assessments to ensure compliance and business alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, QA, and project partners.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment with risk standards and long-term reporting goals.
Solution Development Support
- Support system design, including user interface and backend logic.
- Assist with user acceptance testing and issue resolution.
- Provide knowledge transfer during implementation.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for reengineered processes.
- Support long-term system sustainability and future enhancements.
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the modernization and automation of compensation-related risk reporting processes currently built in MS Access and Excel. This role will focus on transforming legacy, manual workflows into streamlined, scalable, and automated solutions using Excel, Power BI, Power Automate, and Workday reporting tools.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and innovative—someone who can rethink existing processes, redesign outputs, and deliver efficient, maintainable reporting solutions rather than simply migrating outdated methods.
