About The Role
We are supporting a leading nonprofit health insurance organization that delivers comprehensive health coverage and care management services. Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to drive workflow automation, strengthen compliance within member communications, and support enterprise-level modernization initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and regulatory alignment of all member-facing letters and emails, including translated materials. You will also contribute to the development of digital solutions that enable Care Management teams to send standardized, preapproved communications, supporting efforts to improve member experience and health outcomes.
Job Description
In this role, you will conduct research and analysis, identify trends, and recommend best practices to support operational effectiveness. You will document metrics and process changes, analyze and enhance systems, and coordinate projects to ensure timely progress. This position serves as a liaison between business and technical teams, representing stakeholder needs and contributing as a senior subject matter expert on processes, content, and communication workflows.
Key responsibilities include managing approval processes for member communications, submitting and tracking technical update tickets, validating system updates, ensuring accuracy across all communication channels, overseeing translation needs, and maintaining detailed documentation and tracking logs. You will also support the design of future-state solutions, including building a comprehensive letter database with metadata, language linkages, and translation tracking.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis.
- Identify trends, emerging issues, and best practices; develop and document metrics.
- Analyze, design, develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and enhance systems through reporting and documentation.
- Participate in and coordinate project activities to ensure progress and clear communication of status, risks, issues, and priorities.
- Act as a liaison with internal and external partners to identify needs and develop implementation plans.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert for processes, procedures, and content.
Approval Process
- Complete approval for approximately twenty pending letters.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for final sign?off.
TDX Ticket Management
- Submit requests to add or update letters in electronic health record systems.
System Integration & Testing
- Validate updates in Helios, Predictal, and PowerApp.
- Perform testing to ensure proper functionality after updates.
Quality Assurance
- Verify accuracy of letters across all systems.
- Review and update language blocks in Care Management letters and emails.
Translation Oversight
- Manage translation requests for required languages.
- Track translated language blocks and ensure updates are implemented.
- Validate translated content for compliance.
Documentation & Tracking
- Maintain Care Management letter log with approval dates and MID numbers.
- Manage tracking for language blocks and translations.
Future State Development
- Build a letter database including:
- Language block linkage and translation tracking.
- Metadata such as dates, letter name, orientation, system access, line of business, enclosures, letterhead, recipient type, MID or form numbers, and approval dates.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of related professional or educational experience.
- Project coordination skills to manage multiple systems and stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency in Helios, Predictal, PowerApp, and TDX ticketing.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy across letters and systems.
- Testing and QA experience to validate updates and functionality.
- Documentation management skills to maintain logs and metadata for compliance.
- Translation management experience, including oversight of requests and implementation of accurate updates.
- Advanced collaborative, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop accurate and appropriate communications for all levels of management.
- Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
- Strong ability to make decisions based on analysis and business needs.
- Advanced ability to challenge the status quo and provide new perspectives.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to work independently with guidance only in highly complex situations.
