Continuous Improvement Consultant – Independent Contractor

Overview:
Third Party International (TPI) is seeking skilled and driven Continuous Improvement Consultants with a background in engineering or supply chain to join our network of independent contractors. Our consultants are deployed to client locations across various industries to drive quality improvements, optimize processes, and enhance supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives, employing Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies to enhance operational performance.
- Analyze and assess current processes in manufacturing, engineering, or supply chain settings, identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement solutions to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and improve product quality.
- Partner with client teams to establish metrics, track progress, and ensure sustainable improvement outcomes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving on quality or supply chain issues to mitigate risks.
- Deliver clear, actionable recommendations and support clients through implementation, training, and change management processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field required; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality, continuous improvement, or supply chain management.
-Background in Manufacturing, PCB manufacturing a plus
- Expertise in CI methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
- Demonstrated success in project management, process optimization, or quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and adapt quickly to client environments.
Location & Commitment:
This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO, with potential travel to client sites. The role is contract-based, allowing flexibility while providing a steady stream of consulting opportunities through TPI’s client network.
