We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Biometrics Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in our sales cycle, acting as the bridge between our customers' business challenges and our innovative biometric solutions. You will be the go-to technical expert for our sales team and a trusted advisor to our clients, providing pre-sales consulting, designing tailored solutions, and demonstrating the value of our products.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales Consulting: Engage with prospective clients to deeply understand their technical requirements, business goals, and pain points. Translate these needs into a clear vision for how our biometrics products can solve their challenges.
- Solution Design & Strategy: Work with the product team to architect and propose comprehensive solutions. This includes selecting the right hardware and software, outlining system architecture, and ensuring seamless integration with the client's existing environment.
- Technical Demonstrations: Prepare and deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations that showcase our products' capabilities. Tailor these demos to highlight features most relevant to each client's specific use case.
- Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process. Address customer requirements, overcome objections, and build strong relationships by instilling confidence in our technology and expertise.
- Proposal & RFP Management: Lead the technical response for RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information), ensuring all technical specifications and requirements are accurately met.
- Market Feedback: Serve as the voice of the customer by gathering and communicating market insights and client feedback to our product management and engineering teams. This ensures our product roadmap aligns with market demands.
- Sales Enablement: Provide ongoing sales training and support to our internal sales team and external partners, empowering them to effectively position our products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related business or technical fields.
- Deep understanding of biometric technologies and their application in real-world scenarios.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, business-oriented terms.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a consultative approach to sales. Experience in a fast-paced sales environment with a proven track record of supporting successful sales cycles.
- Willingness to travel [e.g., 25-50%] to client sites, conferences, and trade shows.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
