This job is structured with a monthly retainer, plus bonsues on execution and results. It is not tied to a set number of hours. Although this is something that will be tracked. (Approx. 10 - 15 hours a week)

Position Overview
We are looking for a creative, organized, and brand-aware Social Media Manager to help our office stay top of mind within our local community through organic content. If the mission of HomeTown Family Chiropractic does not evoke something that aligns with who you are, this will not be the best fit for you.
This is not an advertising role.
We are not looking for paid ads, funnels, or viral hacks.
We want someone who understands:

Key Responsibilities
Create and manage a monthly content calendar
Post 3–5 times per week across Instagram and Facebook
Share stories, reels, and behind-the-scenes content
Highlight:
- community involvement
- office culture
- educational chiropractic content
- patient wins (with consent)
- Engage with local businesses and followers
- Coordinate with the External Marketing Coordinator to share event content
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual style
Performance Expectations
- Consistent posting and engagement
- Clear brand alignment
- Steady engagement and visibility growth
- Positive contribution to referrals and patient retention
Schedule & Compensation
- Part-Time or Contract
- Monthly Retainer: $800–$1,500 (based on experience)
- Quarterly Performance Bonuses: $500–$1,000 potential
- Flexible schedule with clear deadlines
Ideal Candidate
- Strong understanding of Instagram and Facebook
- Comfortable creating short-form video
- Organized, proactive, and communicative
- Familiar with local/community-based businesses
- Chiropractic or wellness familiarity is a plus (not required)
- Self-starter
This Role Is NOT a Fit If You:
- Focus primarily on paid ads or funnels
- Rely heavily on trends that don’t fit brand voice
- Need constant creative direction
- Are uncomfortable working with real people and real businesses
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite for content creation.
- Familiarity with video editing tools to produce engaging multimedia content.
- Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research, web analytics, and how they influence social media strategies.
- Experience with social listening tools and public relations tactics to enhance brand reputation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent proofreading skills with an eye for detail to ensure all content is polished before publication.
