Overview
Two well-established tech-focused private equity firms in the Bay Area are expanding their teams and seeking a high-caliber Associate to support continued growth and investment activity. With over $1.5B in AUM, the firms use differentiated strategies and deploy capital through flexible equity investments.

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate new investment opportunities across a range of sectors and transaction types
- Build and maintain detailed financial models; conduct market, industry, and competitive research
- Assist with due diligence workstreams and preparation of investment committee materials
- Support deal execution alongside senior investment professionals and external advisors
- Participate in portfolio monitoring, strategic initiatives, and value creation efforts
- Work closely with partners, founders, management teams, and internal stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- 1.5+ years of post-undergraduate experience, ideally in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or another rigorous analytical environment
- Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Intellectual curiosity, ownership mentality, and a collaborative working style
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, small-team environments and work across industries and deal types
