Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Industrial Engineer to support production operations through time studies, line balancing, and development of standard work. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing manufacturing efficiency and ensuring processes meet defined performance targets.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct time studies to analyze and improve production efficiency
• Perform line balancing to optimize workflow and resource utilization
• Develop and implement standard work procedures for manufacturing processes
• Validate final processes to ensure compliance with performance targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience with MOST or equivalent work measurement systems
• Hands-on experience in creating and implementing standard work
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
Preferred Skills
• Experience in automotive or trucking manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Familiarity with industrial engineering tools and techniques
