Job Title: Trainee, Business Performance (Business Planning)
Reports to: Director, Business Performance
Job Purpose
The Dior Corporate Trainee participates in a program designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across functional areas. By working closely with their assigned Department, the Trainee supports the organization’s short and long-term objectives through day to day administrative and long-term project work. Trainees across departments will collaborate to develop initiatives to improve business results and present a project to our Executive Leadership Team.
Job responsibilities
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Update daily sales trackers with sales actuals and key performance indicators, providing insightful commentary on variances and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align product launches, key event dates, and exceptional transaction timing
- Creates executive-level presentations and summaries of sales performance versus financial objectives
- Provides analytical and administrative support for various ad hoc projects, including but not limited to markdown, sales forecasting, and new store opening assessment
Skills And Competencies
- At least 6 months of prior experience
- Full-time, 12-month program from July 2026 through July 2027
- Available to work M-F, 9-6pm, Friday work from home
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Retail Math experience is a plus
- Dedicated, dynamic team player
- Strong problem-solving skills, time management skills and attention to detail
- Ability to demonstrate tact and discretion in preparing, disclosing and handling information of a confidential, controversial and sensitive nature
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with all levels of the organization
Profile
The appointed candidate will be offered a salary of $20 per hour, plus potential eligibility to participate in the Company's medical benefits plan, commuter benefits, and 401k plans with employer contributions.
