Social Media & Marketing Coordinator
About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to support two hospitality brands under one umbrella: a catering company and a pizza concept. This role is ideal for someone who loves food, storytelling, and creating content that actually drives business — not just likes.
You’ll be responsible for managing our social media presence, keeping our website fresh, creating promotional graphics, and supporting content creation including photography and videography. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work closely with ownership and operations to bring our brands to life online.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage day-to-day social media for both brands (primarily Instagram & TikTok, with possible expansion to others)
- Plan and execute content calendars aligned with promotions, events, and seasonal moments
- Write engaging captions that match each brand’s voice
- Post consistently, monitor engagement, and respond to comments/messages as needed
- Track basic performance metrics and suggest improvements
Content Creation (Photo & Video)
- Capture and edit photo and video content (food, behind-the-scenes, events, team, etc.)
- Support short-form video creation (Reels, Stories, promos)
- Coordinate or assist with professional shoots when needed
- Maintain a well-organized content library for ongoing use
Graphics & Promotions
- Create on-brand graphics for social media, promotions, events, and campaigns
- Support marketing initiatives such as special menus, catering promotions, holidays, and collaborations
- Ensure visuals are consistent across both brands while maintaining their distinct personalities
Website Updates
- Keep website content up to date (menus, photos, announcements, promotions, basic edits)
- Coordinate with developers or platforms as needed for minor updates
- Ensure content is accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with current offerings
Brand & Marketing Support
- Collaborate with ownership and internal teams to brainstorm and execute marketing ideas
- Help ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
- Support occasional on-site needs for events, catering jobs, or content capture
Qualifications
- 1–3+ years experience in social media, marketing, or content creation (hospitality experience is a big plus)
- Strong eye for visual content and brand aesthetics
- Comfortable shooting and editing photo/video on phone or camera
- Experience with tools like Instagram, Canva, Adobe, CapCut, or similar
- Basic website/content management experience (Squarespace, WordPress, Wix, etc.)
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple brands
- Flexible schedule — hospitality hours may include evenings or weekends occasionally
