Our client, a leader in water quality instrumentation and environmental solutions, is seeking a Firmware Embedded Software Engineer to join their team. As a Firmware Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of the R&D department supporting innovative water analysis products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Firmware Embedded Software Engineer
Location: Loveland, Colorado
What's the Job?
- Design and develop embedded firmware solutions for new and existing water quality products.
- Collaborate within an Agile team environment, participating in daily scrums and weekly development discussions.
- Analyze requirements, estimate effort, and deliver impactful, reliable solutions.
- Work closely with hardware teams, troubleshooting and debugging using tools such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
- Contribute to the growth of the firmware team and the development of new product architectures.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in C++ user-space development and C (or embedded C) programming.
- Experience with 32-bit microcontrollers and embedded platforms (Linux, RTOS, and bare metal).
- Strong understanding of computer architecture, memory technologies, and build processes.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and debugging skills in both software and hardware environments.
