About the Role
The Sales Development Representative is responsible for generating and qualifying new sales opportunities. You will be the first point of contact for prospective customers and play a critical role in building pipeline for the sales team.
Responsibilities and potential impact
Responsibilities:
Prospect into target accounts using outbound email, phone, and social outreach
Qualify inbound and outbound leads against defined criteria
Book qualified meetings for Account Executives
Maintain accurate activity and lead data in the CRM
Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and targeting
Engage with prospects at conferences and other events
Impact:
Drive consistent, high-quality pipeline for the sales organization
Improve lead conversion rates through effective qualification
Represent the company brand in early customer interactions
Contribute directly to revenue growth
Must haves:
1-3 years of experience in sales, SDR, or a similar customer-facing role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfort with high-volume outreach and cold calling
Experience using CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot
Self-motivated with strong time management skills
Nice to haves:
Prior SaaS or B2B sales experience, especially in healthcare
Familiarity with sales engagement tools
Interest in growing into a closing sales role
