The Assembly Housing and Community Development Committee is seeking a
Committee Consultant. The ideal candidate will have legislative experience,
strong writing and interpersonal skills, and the ability to think critically and
conduct thorough research. Candidate must be able to work independently in
fast-paced and high-pressure situations, meet tight deadlines, and participate
as a team player. Ideal candidates will have some background in housing
policy including building standards, housing discrimination, housing elements,
mobile homes, and rent control/tenant protections.
The salary range for Senior Consultant is $6,231 - $14,450 monthly. The
committee expects that final compensation for this position will depend on
experience and seniority.
