The Opportunity: Hylton Electric is a licensed Electrical Contracting firm. We specialize in critical infrastructure and standby power systems for municipal and state clients.
We are looking for a Seasoned Master Electrician to join us as a Technical Consultant. This is a strategic role, not a labor role. We have a full-time estimator, project managers, and field crews. We need your experience and credentials to bolster our technical standing on high-value government solicitations.
What We Need From You:
- Your Resume/CV: We need to demonstrate deep technical capacity to government graders. You must be able to provide a project list showing commercial/industrial generator installations (50kW to 500kW+) completed within the last 3–5 years.
- Technical Authority: You will be listed as the "Technical Lead" on bid proposals to satisfy "Key Personnel" requirements.
- Final Verification: Be available for occasional "Final Check" walkthroughs (video or in-person) to ensure installation quality before we call in the city/county inspectors.
Requirements:
- Recent Experience (Critical): Must show verifiable history managing or installing industrial/commercial generators (Generac, Kohler, Cummins, etc.) between 2021 and 2026.
- License Status: Active Florida Master Electrician License is strongly preferred but to required.
- Note: You will NOT be required to Qualify the business. We are already a fully licensed Electrical Contractor. Your license serves only as proof of competence and experience for technical evaluation.
- Code Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of NEC 700/701/702 and Florida Building Code regarding emergency systems.
