About the Role

We are representing a Los Angeles–based insurance brokerage specializing in Representations & Warranties Insurance (RWI) for private equity and strategic M&A transactions. We are seeking a highly motivated RWI Analyst to support deal execution and underwriting across a broad range of transactions.

This role offers early exposure to private equity sponsors, M&A advisors, insurers, and legal counsel, and is ideal for candidates looking to build a career at the intersection of insurance and transactional finance.

Key Responsibilities

Support the placement of RWI policies for M&A transactions ranging from lower middle market to large-cap deals
Assist in transaction analysis, including review of purchase agreements, diligence reports, and deal structures
Prepare underwriting materials and coordinate submissions to insurers
Participate in calls with private equity clients, legal counsel, and underwriters
Track deal timelines and support negotiations of policy terms
Conduct market research and maintain insurer relationships
Support senior team members throughout the full deal lifecycle

Candidate Profile

6–12 months of M&A experience
Ideal backgrounds: Law firm (corporate/M&A), Accounting firm (transaction advisory, due diligence), Investment banking, Private equity
Strong understanding of M&A transaction processes and documentation
Excellent analytical and attention-to-detail skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple live transactions in a fast-paced environment
High level of professionalism and client-facing maturity
