PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Electronic Installation Design Engineer to support one of the world’s most innovative aerospace organizations. As an Electronic Installation Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in electrical integration for F-15 new development and production programs. Working under minimal direction, you will:
- Develop and maintain cable and wire harness detail and assembly designs
- Conduct and lead design analyses and design reviews
- Provide engineering design dispositions for discrepancies, including:
- Rejection tags
- Production action requests
- Shop revision requests
- Document processes, specifications, and procedures for electrical commodity design and manufacturing
- Create complex statements of work, including budgets, schedules, and metrics
- Perform technical evaluations of supplier capabilities to support source selection
- Design aircraft equipment installations such as:
- Trays
- Shelves
- Adapters
- ECS ducts
- Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless integration across structures, subsystems, and electrical designs
- 10+ years of aerospace design experience
- Proficiency in NX
- Degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or related field
- Bachelor’s +9 years of experience
- Master’s +7 years of experience
- PhD +4 years of experience
- Education from ABET-accredited program preferred (not required)
- This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
- Experience in model-based design
- Expertise in NX and Teamcenter
- Background in military aircraft programs
- Experience in structures or subsystems design

Pay Details: $71.90 per hour
