As an Account Associate, you’ll introduce your community to the wonders of Verizon FiOS. We’ll train you to be a consultative guide, not just a salesperson. The Account Associate generates sales through genuine relationships, nurtures sales with fantastic follow-up, and sees their results open doors to our exclusive Leadership Development Pipeline.
Key Responsibilities of the Account Associate
- Meet Pittsburgh families in person, listening to connectivity challenges and introducing Verizon FiOS Fiber Internet as the solution.
- Support onboarding appointments, helping households activate Fiber Internet, VoIP lines, and Verizon wireless devices.
- Carry out audits alongside account managers, recommending upgrades that enhance streaming, gaming, and sales potential.
- Clarify the benefits of FiOS fiber‑to‑the‑premises, showing how symmetrical bandwidth supports gaming, streaming, and everyday sales value.
- Record customer activity in sales systems, maintaining accurate documentation of service agreements and renewals.
- Support account managers in resolving inquiries, delivering friendly, solution‑focused assistance that sustains customer satisfaction and sales momentum.
Qualifications of the Account Associate
- High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in Business, Marketing, or Communications is a plus but not required.
- Experience in high-engagement, people-first roles such as sales or account management, showcasing enthusiasm and customer focus.
- Strong communication skills to translate next-generation networking solutions into practical customer advantages.
- Proven ability to manage territory sales and service independently, with accountability and initiative.
