Position Overview
The Chief Architect Specialist will be responsible for auditing and refining layouts created by the sales team, incorporating field measurements, and preventing costly installation errors.
This role is critical to maintaining operational efficiency and delivering flawless projects to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Review sales designs in Chief Architect for accuracy and feasibility
- Update layouts based on jobsite remeasurements
- Correct dimensions, alignments, fillers, clearances, and appliance placements
- Ensure compliance with company standards and manufacturer specifications
- Prepare final production-ready drawings
- Collaborate with sales, project managers, and installation teams
- Identify potential design conflicts before ordering materials
Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Chief Architect OR 2020 Design (this is not an entry-level role)
- Strong understanding of cabinetry, kitchen layouts, and construction principles
- Ability to interpret architectural measurements and field notes
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Problem-solving mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in cabinet or kitchen design companies
- Knowledge of NKBA guidelines
- Familiarity with countertops and space planning
- Experience working with production drawings
- Portuguese/Spanish speaker is differential
