Job Title: Financial Planner - Paraplanner
Location: Buffalo Grove, IL (Onsite)
Looking for a Financial Planner / Paraplanner to support our advisory team with the technical and administrative aspects of financial planning. This role works closely with the Lead Advisor to prepare financial plans, retirement income strategies, investment analyses, and planning reports, with limited client-facing responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing financial plan recommendations and retirement income strategies
- Prepare investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses
- Support client onboarding and minor client communications
- Assist with financial planning and tax planning reports
- Run basic annuity illustrations and one-off financial analyses
- Collaborate with advisors and team members on client cases
Qualifications:
- 1–3+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- 3–5 years of paraplanning experience OR background as a Service Advisor/Financial Planner seeking a technical-focused role
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
