Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Barrington, IL. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating innovative interior spaces through thoughtful space planning, designing interiors, selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and collaborating with architects and construction teams. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and developing design projects, preparing construction drawings, and incorporating client feedback to deliver tailor-made luxury home solutions.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
- Knowledge of Architecture and experience in preparing Construction Drawings to effectively collaborate with architectural and construction teams.
- Expertise in selecting and specifying Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E) to craft unique and luxurious interiors.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to handle multiple design projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills to understand and execute client visions.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is required.
- Experience in luxury residential design is highly desirable.
