Role Description
This is a Full-Time, on-site Designer role located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The Designer will work closely with clients to conceptualize and create tailored design solutions that reflect individual style preferences. Daily tasks include providing personalized design consultations, offering expert advice on furnishings and decor, and coordinating design plans with clients to ensure their vision is realized. The role also involves staying updated on current design trends and collaborating with the sales team to provide a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in interior design principles, space planning, and knowledge of current design trends
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience with design tools and software, such as CAD or SketchUp, is a plus
- Ability to gather and interpret client preferences to create personalized design plans
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with sales teams and clients
- Prior experience in retail or a design-related field is preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
