A global investment and advisory platform is seeking a Senior Vice President to join its Private Equity Value Creation team in New York. The team partners with PE sponsors and portfolio company leadership to identify and deliver measurable value creation initiatives across Technology and Business Services businesses, combining strategic problem-solving with hands-on transformation execution.
This is an opportunity to step into a senior, front-line value creation seat with meaningful ownership—shaping portfolio agendas, leading transformation workstreams, and operating credibly with Operating Partners and C-suite stakeholders in a high-standards environment.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a commercially minded transformation leader who can diagnose value creation opportunities, build actionable plans, and drive execution across portfolio initiatives—working closely with senior stakeholders across private equity and management teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead value creation diagnostics and identify EBITDA / cash / growth levers across Tech and Business Services assets
- Build transformation roadmaps and 100-day plans; establish governance, KPI cadence, and execution rhythm
- Own workstreams across operating model, margin expansion, pricing, GTM effectiveness, automation/AI-enabled productivity, and finance/working capital improvement
- Partner with sponsor-side stakeholders and portfolio leadership (CEO/CFO/COO) to align priorities and remove execution barriers
- Drive cross-functional execution across operations, finance, technology, and commercial teams; manage advisors where relevant
- Produce high-quality materials for senior stakeholders: value creation plans, KPI dashboards, board updates, and decision papers
- Support build-out of the function through playbooks, benchmarks, and repeatable delivery approaches
What We’re Looking For
- Typically 10–14 years in PE value creation / portfolio operations, consulting-led transformation (MBB/Big 4 strategy & deals), or operator-led transformation in Tech / Business Services
- Track record delivering measurable outcomes in complex transformation programs (multi-stakeholder, time-bound, KPI-driven)
- Credible presence with senior stakeholders and comfort operating in fast-paced sponsor environments
- Strong structured thinking, communication, and ability to lead execution—not just strategy
- Exposure to digital/analytics/automation-led transformation is a plus (not required)
