Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive estate planning strategies tailored to high-net-worth clients, ensuring compliance with relevant securities law and tax regulations.
- Provide expert guidance on wills, trusts, and estate law to facilitate seamless wealth transfer and asset protection.
- Manage investment portfolios by analyzing financial data, conducting research, and applying financial concepts to optimize client outcomes.
- Engage in proactive financial sales efforts by identifying client needs, presenting tailored solutions, and expanding the firm’s client base through relationship management.
- Oversee cash management and asset management activities, ensuring efficient handling of client assets while adhering to banking regulations such as the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Utilize advanced financial software and accounting tools to perform detailed financial analysis, reporting, and planning.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to technical accounting standards and financial services regulations.
- Conduct ongoing research on market trends, investment opportunities, and regulatory changes impacting wealth management practices.
- Foster strong relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, understanding their financial goals, and offering strategic advice aligned with their long-term objectives.
Experience
- Proven experience in estate planning, wealth management, or related financial services roles within a trust or asset management firm.
- Deep knowledge of securities law, tax regulations related to trusts and estates, and compliance standards such as the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, portfolio management, and investment strategies tailored for high-net-worth individuals.
- Strong background in financial software applications including accounting software and research tools used for market analysis.
- Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Familiarity with technical accounting principles relevant to trust operations and financial reporting standards.
