What You’ll Do:
We’re looking for a high-energy Field Sales Manager to hit the streets and help grow our account base in the Houston and Texas market. You’ll be responsible for increasing retail availability, driving in-store sales, and building long-lasting relationships with distributor sales reps and key accounts.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Manage a dynamic route of on- and off-premise retail accounts across the Texas market
● Develop deep relationships with HOPWTR’s Distribution sales supervisors and route sales representatives
● Open new accounts, expanding HOPWTR’s distribution footprint, and increasing product availability
● Daily in market work, gathering and reporting field-level achievements through our CRM tool
● Secure incremental display & shelf space and implementing POS to drive brand visibility
● Work with distributor sales reps to execute HOPWTR merchandising programs and ensure their alignment with our goals
● Conduct in-store tastings, samplings, and events to build trial and drive sales
● Provide weekly recaps of wins, challenges, and opportunities in your territory
● Assist with local event activations and community-driven marketing initiative
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
● 1+ years of field sales experience in the beverage, alcohol, or CPG industry
● A self-starter mentality with a competitive drive and a passion for winning in the marketplace
● Strong knowledge of Texas markets and the ability to build lasting account relationships
● Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to manage your time independently and prioritize on-the-go
● Physical capability to lift and move product (40-50lbs), stand, walk, and demo as needed
● Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
● Tech-savvy with Google Suite and mobile CRM tools
Bonus points for:
● Experience working with DSD distributor partners
● Existing relationships with key retailers and independent accounts in Texas
● Prior start-up or high-growth brand experience
Key Relationships
You’ll report directly to the Director of Sales, Central and work closely with the broader Sales, Marketing, and Operations Teams.
