About the Role:
Join us as a QA Analyst I where you’ll play a key role in supporting our team and driving operational excellence. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is eager to grow professionally. The QA Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Transport Enterprise Leasing’s software products. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the development team to create and execute detailed test plans, identify defects, and validate product functionality through comprehensive end-to-end testing. You will also help improve documentation, support ongoing process improvements, and contribute to maintaining high quality standards across all releases.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and specifications.
- Create detailed test cases and test plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of the software.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of the product.
- Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies using bug tracking tools.
- Conduct regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure no new issues arise.
- Participate in design and code reviews to provide feedback on testability and potential quality risks.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate completion of testing activities.
- Generate and maintain product documentation, including user manuals, release notes, and technical guides.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay up-to-date with industry’s best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented and collaborative Quality Assurance Analyst with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and hands-on experience executing a variety of testing methodologies. They bring strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to maintaining high product quality while continuously improving testing processes. This person thrives in a team environment, adapts quickly to shifting priorities, and contributes proactively to the overall success of the development lifecycle.
Qualifications:
To be effective in this role, the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA methodologies.
- Experience in end-to-end testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test cases and test plans.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting product features and reporting issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages and scripting will be an added advantage.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience as a QA Analyst in a prior role.
