Location: NYC-based (hybrid)
Hours: 10–12 hours per week
Compensation: $25/hour
About the Role
This role is perfect for someone passionate about UGC content creation for beauty and fashion brands, growing social accounts, and learning the strategy behind what actually performs on social. As a Content & Social Media Coordinator, you’ll support content creation and social media execution across multiple client accounts while gaining hands-on experience in agency workflows, planning, and optimization.
If you love being behind (and in front of) the camera, are curious about performance and trends, and want to grow beyond just posting into more strategic social media experience, this role is designed for you.
Responsibilities
- Film and edit social content for clients as needed (primarily short-form video)
- Attend on-set content shoots when needed 1-2 times a month, all based in NYC.
- Design content graphics and simple assets for social platforms when needed
- Update trackers, content calendars, and internal documents
- Schedule approved content across platforms
- Organize assets and maintain clear folder structures
- Attend and assist with in-person shoots when needed (NYC area)
Requirements
- Experience creating social media content (UGC, personal, or brand)
- Comfortable being on camera and speaking in videos when needed
- Strong short-form video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
- Solid understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends
- Organized, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Able to follow brand guidelines and implement feedback
