ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Finance Assistant on our Accounts Payable team, you’ll learn the core building blocks of corporate finance and accounting in a high-volume and dynamic environment. You’ll process invoices, assist with reconciliations, and partner with colleagues to ensure accurate, timely payments. This entry-level role comes with structured training, mentorship from senior staff, and a clear path for growth as our company expands.
What you’ll do:
§ Process up to 75 supplier invoices per day ensuring proper accounting, approvals, and attention to detail.
§ Match purchase orders, invoices, and payment requests, flagging discrepancies for review.
§ Process payments via Check, Credit Card, ACH, and Wire.
§ Help implement process improvements to streamline invoice processing and reconciliation workflows.
§ Participate in cross-departmental projects to enhance financial operations.
§ Respond to vendor inquiries via phone or email, escalating as needed.
§ Support the Finance team in tracking and resolving outstanding payments or credits.
§ Support month-end close by preparing journal entries and ensuring all vouchers are completed by the end of the month.
§ Collaborate with the finance team and account managers to resolve discrepancies or billing issues.

§ Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel (e.g., sorting, filtering, simple formulas)
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required
· 0–2 years of related experience; internships or coursework in accounting/finance welcome
· Associate’s, bachelor’s degree or equivalent life experience.
