Project Coordinator — Architectural Signage
Outer Image | Sunset Park, Brooklyn
Outer Image is a WBE-certified signage design and fabrication studio delivering architectural signage and branded environments nationwide. We work with leading architects, developers, and workplace teams and manage the full process from early budgeting and code signage planning through fabrication and installation.
We’re looking for a Project Coordinator with signage experience to help keep projects moving between our internal design team, fabricators, installers, and clients.
This is a production and execution role for someone who understands how signage gets built and installed.
What you’ll do
- Work closely with our internal designers, fabrication partners, and installation teams to move projects from drawings through production and install
- Issue drawing packages and revisions and make sure the correct information is being used in the field
- Turn sign location plans and message schedules into clear scopes of work
- Track submittals, samples, and approvals
- Maintain organized, accurate project files
- Coordinate site surveys, deliveries, and installation schedules
- Prepare clean, complete install packages
You’ll also take the lead on ADA / code signage coordination for select projects:
- Send message schedules to clients for review and track approvals
- Coordinate room names, numbers, and final sign counts
- Work with the design team and architects to confirm updates
- Move the code signage package through the submittal process
You are not responsible for bringing in new work or running full client accounts — this role is about coordination, follow-through, and keeping production on track.

- Shop drawing and submittal workflows
- Coordinating with fabricators and field installers
Bonus points for:

Includes:
