About Us
JKeys Design is a fast-growing sheet metal and plastics fabrication shop serving customers in aerospace, technology, and other advanced industries. We operate CNC router, fiber laser, press brakes, and advanced 5-axis CNC milling equipment to produce precision parts.
This role is ideal for someone early in their manufacturing career who wants real, hands-on shop experience with a clear path to advancement into machine operation and CNC machining.
What You’ll Do
- Load and unload sheet metal and plastic materials onto CNC lasers and routers
- Remove finished parts from machines and prepare them for the next operation
- Sand, deburr, and break edges to meet quality and safety standards
- Clean parts after cutting or forming as required
- Assist with moving materials and completed parts throughout the shop
- Support press brake operations by staging materials and organizing completed work
- Perform basic visual inspections for burrs, sharp edges, or obvious defects
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow shop procedures and safety guidelines at all times
As your skills and reliability grow, there will be opportunities to assist machine operators and advance into CNC operation, setup work, and eventually 5-axis machining.
What We’re Looking For
Some mechanical or hands-on experience is preferred, such as:
- Shop, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
- Automotive or mechanical work
- Welding or fabrication exposure
- High school manufacturing/engineering coursework
- Trade school or technical training
You should be:
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working around industrial machinery
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Able to work on your feet in a fast-paced shop environment
- Able to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs
- Detail-oriented when finishing and inspecting parts
Prior experience with CNC machines is a plus, but not required.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
