- Coordinate all phases of interior design projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate clear communication and project updates.
- Assist in developing project timelines, budgets, and scope documents to align with client goals and design specifications.
- Oversee procurement processes by sourcing materials, furnishings, lighting fixtures, and finishes using tools like SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prepare detailed drawings and presentations utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit; incorporate color theory principles for aesthetic consistency.
- Review construction documents, contracts, and change orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project progress through site visits, inspections, and quality control checks; coordinate remodeling or renovation activities with contractors.
- Support lighting sales initiatives by assisting in lighting design concepts using 3ds Max or Rhinoceros 3D; contribute to budgeting and cost analysis for projects.
- Maintain organized records of all project documentation including contracts, drawings, schedules, and correspondence for seamless reference.
- Proven experience in interior design or project coordination within a fast-paced environment; familiarity with drafting and technical drawing is essential.
- Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign & Illustrator), and other CAD or rendering software.
- Strong understanding of interior design fundamentals such as color theory, lighting design, remodeling processes, construction practices, and budgeting strategies.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of contracts law related to interior design projects; experience with lighting sales or renovation projects is a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate across teams and with clients confidently; detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately; experience in drafting detailed plans is highly desirable.
