Job Responsibilities/Main Functions
Investment Analysis & Strategy Development
- Conduct rigorous qualitative and quantitative analysis of investment opportunities, market trends, and strategic themes across asset classes.
- Design customized strategic and tactical asset allocation strategies using proprietary models and analytical frameworks.
- Understand and interpret financial models, simulations, and risk analytics to support investment hypotheses and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., Financial Advisors, Asset Management, Product) to develop actionable insights and tools.
- Analyze macroeconomic and geopolitical developments (e.g., economic growth, inflation, monetary policy, market liquidity, fiscal policy) and translate them into actionable portfolio views, scenario analyses, and risk positioning across asset classes.
Communication & Insight Delivery
- Translate complex research and analytical outcomes into clear, concise written reports, presentations, dashboards, and narrative summaries.
- Present findings and recommendations in a compelling manner to internal investment committees, cross-functional colleagues, and where applicable, clients that engage with Financial Advisors to discuss and educate on analyses.
- Communicate global and regional investment perspectives, ensuring alignment with broader strategic objectives.
- Support preparation of thought leadership content that summarizes key insights and trends.
- Facilitate discussions to ensure analytical results are understood and actionable, adapting communication style to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
- Interact directly with clients to present portfolio analyses and investment proposals with clarity and confidence.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute to the development of new tools, methodologies, and frameworks that enhance the team’s analytical capabilities.
- Drive initiatives that digitize and scale analytical solutions, incorporating data visualization, automation, or machine learning where appropriate.
Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, and Capabilities)
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in investment analysis, consulting, business intelligence, strategy, or similar analytical roles.
- Financial modeling and quantitative analysis skills.
- Written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft compelling narratives from data.
- Experience preparing and delivering polished presentations.
- Proficiency in analytical and presentation tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, Morningstar).
- Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable in collaborative and client-facing situations.
- Curiosity and a capacity to learn quickly in dynamic, ambiguous contexts.
