Overview
Ankeny Deck Specialist is a fast-growing residential remodeling company specializing in outdoor living spaces—like decks, covered patios, and sunroom—as well as interior renovations including basement finishing, home offices, and bathrooms.
We're looking for a Remodeling Sales Consultant who can guide homeowners from concept to completion. You’ll meet with warm, pre-qualified leads (no cold calling), help them design their ideal space, provide detailed proposals, and stay involved throughout the build to ensure everything runs smoothly and the customer is fully satisfied. You’re free to work in multiple areas or with multiple contractors — there are no restrictions.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations to assist customers in making informed decisions.
- Meet with pre-qualified homeowners (appointments provided—no cold calling)
- Understand client goals and recommend the right remodeling solutions
- Deliver clear, professional project proposals and close deals
- Serve as the homeowner’s main point of contact from contract to completion, keeping them informed and confident throughout the process
- Coordinate with the production team to keep projects on track and aligned with expectations
- Track all sales activity and client communication in our CRM system
Experience
- Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn about our products and services.
- Familiarity with CRM software is a plus but not required.
