ALT Design Studio is looking for a experienced full-time Interior Designer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who loves design but also understands that great design happens in real life — on job sites, on deadlines, and in collaboration with clients, contractors, and project teams.
We work on multiple fast-paced projects at once, so this position is best suited for someone who is organized, adaptable, and excited by variety. If you enjoy seeing projects move from concept to completion and want to gain real-world experience in both design and construction environments, you’ll fit right in.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous interior design experience with construction industry exposure required
- Proficiency in SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to read blueprints and complete material take-offs
- Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and project teams
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities
- A self-starter who asks questions, takes initiative, and enjoys learning
Responsibilities
- Work alongside supervisors to coordinate and execute project design
- Review, revise, and produce design drawings
- Communicate with clients, architects, and building management throughout all phases of design and construction
- Provide updates, manage expectations, and address questions as projects progress
- Prepare construction documentation including bids, specifications, product selections, finishes, and materials
- Assist in maintaining marketing materials and visual assets (Photoshop experience preferred)
- Support administrative and construction-related tasks as needed

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
