We are working with a respected financial institution to add a Personal Banker I and Personal Banker II to high-traffic branches in Santa Fe. These roles are ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, learning financial services, and developing long-term customer relationships.
This is a great opportunity for someone with customer service or sales experience who wants to grow into a career in banking through training, coaching, and hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Personal Banker
- Greet and assist customers with everyday banking needs
- Ask insightful questions to understand financial goals and service needs
- Introduce banking products and services that align with customer priorities
- Support account opening, maintenance, and transaction processing
- Handle cash and complete required documentation accurately
- Balance service excellence with individual performance expectations
- Follow all policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development
Qualifications of the Personal Banker I & Personal Banker II
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer-facing roles involving product recommendations (customer service, retail sales, hospitality) or sales environments
- Comfortable initiating conversations and making recommendations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a professional mindset
- Ability to work a flexible branch schedule, including some evenings and weekends
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain NMLS registration within 90 days
