Wag’n Tails is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Marketing Specialist to support a range of marketing initiatives across product positioning, sales enablement, social media insights, and trade show execution. The ideal candidate brings creative thinking, graphic design expertise, strong project management skills, and an enthusiasm for supporting entrepreneurs in the mobile pet care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Tradeshow and Event Coordination
- Coordinate trade show logistics, booth setup, collateral, giveaways and vendor relationships
- Represent Wag'n Tails at tradeshows and assist with tradeshow lead capture
- Capture content at trade shows to increase booth traffic in real time and create assets for future marketing use
Content Creation & Creative Design
- Produce digital marketing assets as needed that align with brand standards & guidelines
- Develop and maintain sales tools such as product sheets, pitch decks, brochures, and onboarding kits
- Partner with human resources to create and maintain
Digital Media Campaign Coordination
- Monitor budget pacing, bids, targeting, creative performance, and ROI
Landing Page Creation and Optimization
- Build high-converting landing pages, A/B test elements, and implement tracking
- Collaborate with content and analytics to increase conversion rates and reduce CPC
Social Media Execution
- Assist in planning, drafting, and scheduling engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), including posts, stories, and short-form video.
- Coordinate with the creative team to ensure visual assets meet channel needs and reflect brand voice and style
Reputation Management
- Monitor reviews, social mentions, and public feedback across platforms
- Maintain scheduled coverage hours for timely responses and escalate issues per the response plan
- Maintain and update a documented response playbook and report reputation KPIs
- Coordinate with cross functional partners to provide timely and comprehensive responses to inquiries across multiple online platforms
Internal and External Employee Engagement
- Partner with human resources to create internal marketing assets and employee communications
- Assist in the planning, communication, setup, and teardown of Wag’n Tails employee parties and events
- Oversee employee merch store to ensure brand consistency and quality control
- Ensure corporate recruiting platforms reinforce the Wag’n Tails branding and messaging approach
Support ad hoc marketing initiatives as needed
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B, pet care, or product marketing environments.
- Strong writing, editing, and messaging development skills with attention to tone and consistency.
- Experience managing corporate social media channels and content calendars.
- Experience supporting sales teams and/or coordinating trade shows or events.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, reporting tools, and content planning.
- Highly organized, proactive, and excited to contribute to a growing brand.
- Passion for the pet care industry or mobile service innovation is a plus!
Preferred Skills and Experiences:
- Creative design experience in both Adobe and Canva.
- High potential candidates will be requested to send a creative portfolio or sample of previous work.
- Excellent project management, collaboration, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
