About the Role
We are seeking a high-caliber Portfolio & Wealth Planning Analyst to join our boutique wealth management team. This is not a “back-office” role; you will be an integral part of a high-touch advisory team catering to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) families.
The ideal candidate possesses a rare blend of technical rigor and interpersonal grace. You will assist in the design and implementation of sophisticated investment strategies (both public and private) while ensuring our planning deliverables meet the exacting standards of our clientele. The ideal candidate must be comfortable fulfilling multiple roles—from deep-dive portfolio construction, performance analytics to direct client engagement. The salary range is $90,000 – $120,000, depending on experience, a discretionary bonus determined based on individual and team performance, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, health care and dependent day-care flexible savings accounts, transit, and parking programs and paid time off.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Construction & Strategy: Partner directly with the Lead Advisor to build, monitor, and rebalance sophisticated portfolios. This includes asset allocation modeling in conjunction with the investment office as well as bespoke needs of individual customized portfolios.
- Performance Analytics: Leverage industry-standard tools (e.g., Addepar, Tamarac, etc.) to generate insightful performance reports and attribution analysis.
- Comprehensive Wealth Planning: Assist in developing financial plans that address complex needs, coordinated with internal planning team and external professionals using tax-efficiency strategies, cash flow planning, and risk management tools to ensure lifestyle and philanthropic goals are achievable.
- Client Engagement: Participate in client meetings, prepare presentation materials, and serve as a technical point of contact for client inquiries.
- Team Collaboration: Work within a cross-functional framework where roles often overlap with client service and operations to ensure a seamless “family office” experience.

Candidate Requirements
- BA/BS degree required with a concentration in Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred
- 2-3 years of financial modeling experience
- Experience with CRM and portfolio accounting software is essential
- Strong familiarity with portfolio construction, risk allocation, and wealth management and/or capital markets analytics
- Strong interest in gaining CFA® certification
- Addepar experience, a plus
- Salesforce experience, a plus
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office
