Corrections work experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for resolving any problems that may arise with an Incarcerated Individual PIN numbers
- Processing II's PAN sheets (Personal Allowed Numbers)
- Investigate and answer II's grievances
- Basic II's phone repair (replace handset and dial pad)
- Work with Tech Support to help resolve basic system outage and equipment reset
- Assist the facility staff with any investigations and or queries and questions pertaining to the inmate telephone system
- Point of contact for FACILITY staff for any issues regarding customer account
- Compile reports as needed
- Create problem tickets and monitor for resolution, to include escalations to appropriate departments as needed
- Interact in a professional manner with customers to foster positive relationships
- Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Assist all new users on platform
- Perform basic troubleshooting of tablet functionality, applications, and Wi-Fi connectivity issues
- Manage tablet inventory
- Work with Staff on tablet distribution to II's
- Return damaged or inoperable tablets in accordance with vendors process.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; post graduate training and/or education is preferred
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products to include (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer focus driven skillset; ability to develop strong partnership
- Must be pro-active, self-sufficient and highly productive with minimal guidance/supervision
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Must have good work ethic and reliable transportation.
- Travel to assigned sites per weekly schedule
Experience:
- Previous experience in IT role is preferred
- Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
