Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a strategic, AI-literate, and versatile Copywriter who brings clarity and passion to every brand touchpoint. You will work cross-functionally to support 360-degree product launches and daily marketing initiatives across our own channels and our global retail partners.
Your primary duties will include following a content strategy, proofreading, and editing, as well as collaborating with the team to deliver quality writing projects on time. The role will focus on brand storytelling and content writing to produce product descriptions, content for social media, marketing materials, and video scripts. You are a storyteller who can translate product benefits into emotionally resonant stories, ensuring our brand voice remains consistent across all touchpoints.
What You'll Do
Website & Retailer Content
· Retailer Digital Shelves: Craft compelling copy for all retailer websites (Amazon, Walmart, Target, AutoZone, etc.). You will adapt master messaging to meet the specific requirements and customer mindsets of each platform.
· Alt-Image Copy: Write Alt-Image marketing copy (infographics) for digital retail carousels, turning visual product features into high-impact "reasons to buy" that live directly within the imagery.
· Narrative Support: Support the writing of full-funnel campaigns for product drops and brand moments—spanning paid media, social, email, SMS, and high-performance web copy.
· Training & Video Scripts: Draft Training Scripts and video scripts from master messaging to craft compelling social media posts, short form videos, and internal training content.
Brand & Marketing Execution
· Brand Storytelling: Collaborate with the team to produce engaging marketing materials and brand projects that resonate with our global community.
· Global Localization: Coordinate the translation and localization process for French Canadian, Spanish, and European markets, acting as the brand guardian to ensure the Chemical Guys brand is maintained globally.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Design, Product Development, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and consistency in tone and messaging.
· Naming & Identity: Assist in naming products and collections with creative flair and strategic rationale.
Proofreading & Quality
· Proofreading & Editing: Act as a final line of review for grammar, punctuation, and adherence to brand guidelines.
· Strategy Adherence: Follow established content strategies to ensure all writing projects ladder up to broader brand and business goals.
· High-Volume Output: Work under tight deadlines with a focus on high-volume output and strong attention to detail.
What You Bring
· 3+ years of copywriting experience, with a portfolio showing integrated campaign work and e-commerce copy.
· Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and content management systems.
· Knowledge of automotive detailing or a passion for cars is a plus.
· Experience writing for diverse e-commerce environments and understanding how to optimize copy for various retailer websites.
· Experience managing or coordinating translation workflows and external vendors.
· A proactive communicator who thrives on feedback and loves working with designers and product experts.
· Demonstrated experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to enhance creative efficiency and scale content.
