Our Sales Representatives serve as our primary liaison to our retail clients. Sales Representatives are responsible for prospecting and closing new business via cold-calling, in-store presentations, and participation in industry trade shows and networking events. You will also be responsible for understanding our company’s product offerings as well as competitive products. You will nurture client relationships, while updating and upselling them on new opportunities to ensure they have the best experience possible. Ideal candidates are driven, ambitious self-starters.

Responsibilities Include:
- Meet monthly revenue targets
- Use a customer-focused, consultative sales process to educate prospects on what products will best fit their needs.
- Be physically at stores 4 days a week visiting current and prospective customers
- Prospect new accounts using all available tools
- Consistently gain new accounts
- Schedule meetings with dispensary purchasing managers
- Drop off samples/orders (as needed), understand customer pain points and desires, present sales opportunities and hold educations
- Ensure each store is optimized for sell-through with appropriate digital menus, in-store merchandising, and fresh product
- Confirm order details with clients to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Ensure customer service orders are managed appropriately
- Inform customers about new products, special delivery schedules, and other important updates
- Set up and Manage promotional sales with Retailers. Reviewing and Submitting Credit Memos for affiliated promotions.
- Participate in budtender education events, hosted company parties, networking mixers, and other events on a regular basis
- Follow-up with prospective accounts via visits and any necessary communication method to
- Close new business and secure orders.
- Monitor the status of deliveries and stay in regular communication with clients, account management, and warehouse fulfillment staff to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain expert-level knowledge on our full product catalog as well as the latest trends in the cannabis industry.
- Professionally relay consolidated, accurate, actionable feedback from customers to the rest of the team on a regular basis.
- Travel - We service retailers throughout Colorado and overnight trips will be necessary.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year prior cannabis sales experience with account management required.
- Proven track record of developing a strategic sales strategy, building new business, and meeting/exceeding quotas.
- Prior experience within the licensed marijuana industry preferred.
- Responsibility & accountability (you must take ownership of your accounts and all issues related to them).
- Excellent attention to detail (this role will require important data entry, so accuracy is critical).
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, including a patient attitude, a friendly disposition, and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- This job requires driving so must be able to meet all licensing and insurance requirements.
- Reliable transportation is necessary.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office, Google Drive, and CRM software.
- A team spirit and helpful attitude.
- Current MED badge required.
Compensation + Benefits:
- Colorado $57,784.00/annually + Commission
- Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, Life/AD&D, 401K with company match, paid time off, and holidays.
Please note that the regulations and laws of The State of Colorado require persons working onsite at a cannabis facility to be at least 21 years of age.
