As our Social Media Content Creator, you will be the voice and visual storyteller of our mission. Your work will help people feel seen, understood, and motivated to take the next step toward recovery. By creating content that educates, uplifts, and engages, you’ll play a direct role in building a supportive online community that changes lives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative content ideas for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Linkedin and YouTube that align with our mission and tone.
- Write compelling captions, design eye-catching graphics, and produce short-form videos that inspire and inform.
- Research trends, hashtags, and best practices to maximize reach and engagement.
- Maintain a consistent posting schedule and ensure all content is inclusive, respectful, and trauma-informed.
- Monitor audience feedback and engagement to refine content strategies.
- Collaborate with our program team to translate recovery resources, success stories, and expert advice into engaging social media posts.
- Produce high-quality multimedia content such as graphics, videos, photography, and written posts using tools like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Manage daily social media activities using platforms like Hootsuite and Buffer to schedule posts, monitor engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
- Conduct social listening to gather insights on audience preferences, trending topics, and brand sentiment to inform content planning.
- Optimize content for SEO by integrating relevant keywords and hashtags to increase visibility and reach.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on branding initiatives and promotional campaigns, including Facebook Advertising and e-commerce promotions.
- Track web analytics with Google Analytics and web analytics tools to measure campaign success and refine strategies accordingly.
- Engage with followers by responding promptly to comments and messages, fostering positive relationships through effective relationship management.
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform features, and digital marketing best practices to keep our content fresh and innovative.
Requirements
- Proven experience in social media management or content creation for brands or organizations.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator; experience with video editing tools is a plus.
- Strong understanding of social media marketing strategies, including social listening, branding, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with social media management tools like Hootsuite and Buffer for scheduling and analytics purposes.
- Knowledge of SEO principles, keyword research techniques, and web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Ability to produce visually appealing content that aligns with brand identity while maintaining high standards of proofreading and editing.
- Experience with Facebook Advertising campaigns or other paid social media advertising platforms is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail in proofreading and content accuracy.

Pay: $18.43 - $20.00 per hour
