Basic Qualifications
- Solid understanding of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals including structures, or mechanisms, or materials
- Proficiency in industry standard CAD (Creo, Catia, AutoCad or similar) software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- US citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD secret clearance

Looking for a hardworking Mechanical Engineer to become a member of the CPS Team. As a Mechanical Engineer in the Structures and Propulsion organization your duties will include supporting the design, manufacture, procurement and test for the structure subcomponents and assemblies, either in an oversight role for supplier-provided components, or as a direct production interface for in-house components. This job requires coordinating with customers, suppliers, test facilities, and other related disciplines including manufacturing, subcontracts, quality, structure design, analysis, systems engineering, and integration with affected subsystems and facilities. Other duties may include,
- Assist on the conceptual development, requirements definition, and design of propulsion components
- Maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical analyses necessary to support systems and components
Desired Skills
- Knowledge of GD&T.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and customers, simultaneously and independently
- Additive manufacturing experience
- Flight Hardware Design experience
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and documentation, including SAP, Q-notes, test procedures, etc.
- Familiarity/proficiency in supply chain management and subcontracts
- Experience with requirement definition, documentation and verification
