Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis is a leading global communications agency built to navigate the complexities of a hyper-connected world. We represent the icons and innovators shaping culture—from global heritage corporations and high-growth tech startups to the non-profits, creative legends, and visionary founders who define the global discourse.
Our expertise spans the full cultural spectrum. We operate at the intersection of entertainment, social impact, corporate reputation, and consumer lifestyle, executing seamlessly across traditional media, social-first outlets, brand partnerships, and influencer ecosystems. Whether we are navigating complex crisis management, elevating advocacy campaigns, or launching global consumer brands, we are storytellers at our core.
You may notice our digital presence is purposefully understated. While our clients are global household names, we believe the best work happens with the spotlight stays firmly on those we represent. We fly under the radar by design - preferring to let our campaigns, and our results, speak for themselves.
If you're driven, intentional, and ready to do good, we're ready for you!
Sunshine Sachs Morgan & Lylis has an immediate opening for a high-energy, multidisciplinary
Junior Account Executive to join our Social Impact team. You have had a solid start in the industry—about
1–2 years of experience, including high-level internships—and you are ready to apply your skills to the world's most pressing issues.
We are looking for a
modern storyteller who is culturally obsessed and mission-driven. You understand that in 2026, a brand’s impact is measured by its authenticity and its ability to connect with communities across both traditional and digital platforms. You have the curiosity to identify emerging social trends, the writing skills to help draft a persuasive narrative, and the organizational rigor to ensure our fast-paced accounts run with total precision.
The Role
- Media Monitoring: Act as the team’s eyes and ears on the cultural zeitgeist. You are responsible for daily monitoring of news cycles to flag relevant stories and trending issues.
- Research: Assist in the research and development of media lists and relevant stakeholders—identifying the right voices to drive authentic advocacy for both domestic grassroots and international non-profit missions.
- Storytelling and Content Creation: Draft the first versions of social briefs, creative pitches, and press releases, helping place stories across traditional news outlets and digital-first platforms.
- Account Support: Manage the daily essentials—agendas, meeting recaps, and media tracking—with precision. You ensure the team has the data needed to lead with confidence.
- On-the-Ground Logistics: Provide essential support for press conferences, influencer-led activations, and social good events. You handle the logistics with a professional and solution-oriented attitude, whether the event is a local town hall or a global summit.
- Relationship Driven: You recognize that the world of social impact is built on trust and integrity. You lead by example in how you treat your co-workers, partners, and the media—prioritizing professional poise and authenticity from day one.
Who You Are
- The Ambitious Generalist: You have 1–2 years of experience in communications, politics, or PR. You are a jack-of-all-trades who is eager to take on more ownership and wants to be at the center of the global and domestic impact landscape.
- Digitally Fluent: You live on social media and understand the creator economy. You know which platforms are driving conversation and can translate that knowledge into a smart pitch for a social cause or policy shift.
- Culturally Curious: You want to work at a place that merges social impact and popular culture. You want to help drive civic engagement by day and volunteer at a film premiere by night.
- A Meticulous Writer: You are a concise and creative writer. You understand how to take a complex global aid framework or a domestic legislative point and turn it into a clear, compelling narrative.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You are proactive. You don’t wait for a task to be assigned; you look for ways to be helpful and bring fresh, out-of-the-box ideas to every team brainstorm.
- Driven to Over-Deliver: You take genuine pride in the accuracy of your work and are energized by the challenge of being part of something that creates real-world change.
