The Role
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Associate Designer to support the organization’s full range of design needs. Reporting to the Design Manager, this full-time role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career designer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is excited to contribute to high-visibility programs and events.
This position offers hands-on experience across branding, digital, environmental, and event design within a mission-driven creative organization.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Production Support
- Assist in managing multiple projects from concept through execution, coordinating with internal teams to align on deadlines and deliverables
- Produce collateral, signage, digital banners, email graphics, and other visual assets for programs and events
- Resize and adapt assets for social media and digital distribution
Brand & Digital Design
- Support the creation and evolution of brand identities for programs and initiatives
- Collaborate with the web team to design landing pages and program-specific microsites
- Contribute to visual storytelling across digital platforms
Operations & Systems
- Track design requests and maintain organized project documentation
- Document workflows and contribute to improving design systems and processes
- Organize and maintain design files and asset libraries
Event Support
- Assist with signage production and environmental design setup for live events and programs
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field, or 1–3 years of professional design experience
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop required; After Effects a plus)
- Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and an interest in integrating emerging technologies into workflows
- Strong typography, layout, and brand systems fundamentals
- Motion design or animation experience is a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position that requires all staff to be present at our New York headquarters in Hudson Yards on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the possibility of additional days to match potential workload.

We also offer milestone benefits, such as a 401k plan, with eligibility starting after 1 year and a company share plan, with eligibility starting after 1 year, fully vested after 5 years.
Additionally, we offer 10 vacation days, 3 personal days, 11 paid holidays, 4 floating holidays, 5 paid sick days, alternating summer Fridays and an employee appreciation week the last week of December.
