Job Summary
We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee a group of technicians and the daily operating activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with a proven track record in management or similar environments. This role involves, Answering phone calls, selling and booking jobs and estimates, staff supervision, inventory control, customer service excellence, and effective coordination across departments to drive business success.
We are a solid, company called the Service King Group with around 20 employees that has been in business for nearly 20 years. We are made up of 3 divisions. The services that we do are pressure washing, car detailing, carpet cleaning, asbestos abatement, water damage restoration. No experience necessary and we will train the right individuals. Must have valid driver’s license, and a smart phone. Must have moderate computer skills and be able to work basic computer programs such as word, Gmail, excel/sheets, typing. We need someone that can type at least 35 words per minute.
- Lead and manage daily shop/technician operations, including sales management, shift management, and customer service delivery.
- Supervise staff including hiring, training & development, employee orientation, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee inventory management, stock control, merchandising, and purchasing to ensure optimal stock levels and presentation.
- Audit payroll, collecting cash handling, POS operations, and retail math to maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct interviewing processes for new hires and participate in employee on-boarding programs.
- Oversee customer service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, phone etiquette, organizational duties, and record keeping.
- Lead team management initiatives to foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork and professional growth.
