Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented 3D Artist (Modeler & Animator) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, textures, and animations for a variety of projects, including games, films, advertisements, simulations, and digital media. The role requires technical expertise, artistic flair, and the ability to work collaboratively with designers, developers, and project stakeholders.
Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia Arts, Game Design, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, Cinema4D, or ZBrush.
- Strong skills in rigging, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering.
- Experience with animation principles, character rigging, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator) for texture and post-production.
Pre-requisites: Work Experience
- Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a 3D Modeler and Animator (portfolio
required).
- Skills and experience developing 3D models of complex product animations and models.
- Experience adhering to style guides/ brand manuals.
- Experience working in a hands-on and varied 3D modelling role.
- Knowledge of VFX, particle systems, and simulation tools.
- Familiarity with VR/AR content creation.
- Passion for art and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Modeling
- Create high-quality 3D models of characters, environments, props, and other assets
according to project requirements from concept through delivery.
- Build clean efficient, and well-textured models optimized for real-time or pre-render
pipelines as required.
- Develop UV layouts, texture maps, normal maps, specular maps, roughness maps, and
other PBR materials.
- Create and maintain modular asset libraries for reuse across projects.
- Ensure models are optimized for performance while maintaining visual quality.
- Apply UV mapping, texturing, shading, and lighting to bring models to life.
- Maintain consistency of art style and adhere to design specifications.
Animation
- Develop smooth, realistic, and stylized animations (character rigging, object movement,
environment dynamics).
- Rigging and skinning if applicable, for characters or mechanical assets.
- Animate or assist in animation workflows, including setting up blendshapes, joints, and rigs.
- Work with engines/ render to achieve desired aesthetics in creating look development
materials and shaders.
- Animate characters, objects, and environments for use in games, films, or interactive
media.
- Implement feedback to refine and enhance animations as needed.
- Maintain documentation on asset formats, naming conventions and production pipelines.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per month
